Registrations are now open for the SASP 2026 Social Developmental Science Pre-Conference: Growing Minds in Social Worlds, to be held on Thursday, 26 November 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, in Christchurch, New Zealand (https://sasp.org.au/events/
The pre-conference will bring together researchers working across social, developmental, and family psychology to explore how people develop within their social worlds.
The program will include:
- an invited mini-keynote;
- lightning presentations;
- a panel discussion focused on shared opportunities and future directions; and
- opportunities for informal networking.
Researchers and students at all career stages are warmly invited, including Honours, postgraduate, early-career, mid-career, and senior researchers.
Attendance is free, but participants must be registered for the main SASP 2026 conference.
Those interested in presenting a five-minute lightning talk can submit a title and brief abstract through the same registration form.
