Vale Stephen Bochner

Many SASP members will be saddened to hear Stephen Bochner has passed away. He was a founder and long time member of SASP regularly attending meetings and making a contribution. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.

University of New South Wales has also stated:

Dear Colleagues,

I have received word that long-time School stalwart Stephen Bochner has died.  If I recall correctly, Stephen first worked as a technical officer in the School before he obtained his PhD. Although he retired from his full-time appointment nearly 25 years ago, he participated actively in teaching and thesis supervision in the Organisational Psychology program until relatively recently.  He still regularly attended the Monday morning tea as late as Session 2 last year.

Here is the information from m.legacy.com/obituaries:

Dearly beloved husband of Sandra….

Aged 85

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a Memorial Service to celebrate Stephen’s life at Ann Wilson Funeral Chapel, corner Barrenjoey Road and Darley Street, Mona Vale on Thursday, 26th April, 2018, commencing 2pm.
