Salary Level A6: A$82,662 per year(plus 17% employer superannuation and leave loading)

 

 

 

We are seeking to appoint a postdoctoral research fellow for 3 years to work within the School of Psychology at the University of New South Wales. The appointee will broadly contribute to two research programs, one focusing on the social psychology of pain (in collaboration with Professor Jolanda Jetten at the University of Queensland, Australia) and one focusing on the social psychology of happiness and depression (in collaboration with Associate Professor Peter Kuppens at the University of Leuven, Belgium).

 

 

 

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability for creative and original research and the ability to publish in top-ranking journals. They should have experience with designing and running lab-based behavioural experiments as well as survey-based research. They should have high-level data analysis skills, excellent attention to detail, and a demonstrated capacity to work effectively within a team, as well as independently.

 

 

 

This is a full time (35 hours per week) fixed term position available for 3 years from the date of commencement with a 6 month probationary period.
