Please note, registration for the conference dinner is via the conference registration link. You can include the dinner in your conference registration or register for it separately.
Conference registration for current SASP members
- SASP Honours students: $100AUD

- SASP Postgraduate members: $200AUD
- SASP Postdoc (i.e., Level A) members: $300AUD
- SASP Academic members: $380AUD
Conference registration for non-SASP members
Note that the costs for non members are higher by the amount of a 1-year membership to SASP. You can become a member here and then make your purchase as a SASP member.

- non-SASP Postdoc (i.e., Level A) members: $400AUD
- non-SASP Academic members: $480AUD
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be held at Louie Louie @ Verity Lane Market on Tuesday 26th November evening. Tickets include arrival canapés, main meal, dessert, and 3hours of drinks. The “Full Package” includes house wines, beer, cider, ginger beer, and bubbles. The “Soft drink” package includes non-alco beer, mocktail, and a range of soda options.

Registration for the conference dinner is via the relevant conference registration link above. You do not need to register for the conference to register for the dinner.
Postgrad dinner
The Postgrad Dinner will be held Monday evening, 25th November at Badger & Co.. Honours students are invited to attend the Postgrad dinner.
Some welcome nibblies will be provided by SASP with the remainder of the night being a “pay your own way” design so you can decide how much you spend.

Awards

Outstanding Career Award
The SASP Outstanding Career award recognises an exceptional scholar who has made a significant contribution to social psychology in Australasia. Candidates are SASP members selected by a committee of the past president, current president, and president-elect of SASP. The recipient of the the Outstanding Career Award is invited to provide an address at the annual SASP conference.
Congratulations Prof. Jolanda Jetten on being awarded the 2024 SASP Outstanding Career award.

Early Career Award
The SASP Early Career Award is awarded to an emerging scholar who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of social psychology in Australasia. The recipient of the award will be invited to present their work at the SASP 2024 Conference in Canberra.
Congratulations Dr. Jonathan Bartholomaeus on receiving the 2024 SASP ECR award.
Outstanding Postgraduate Research Award
The Outstanding Postgraduate Research Award (OPRA) highlights outstanding student research conducted by postgraduate student members of SASP. This year, three awards will be given out: a First Place award ($500), a Runner-up award ($250), and, for the first time, a People’s Choice award ($250). The OPRA selection panel selected five student finalists to present their research at the SASP 2024 conference.
