PhD scholarship: Disgust as a psychosocial defence against infectious disease

A PhD scholarship is available to support a Doctor of Philosophy candidate at the Department of Psychology, Macquarie University. The PhD project will be supervised by Professor Richard Stevenson, Dr Trevor Case, and Dr Megan Oaten. The successful candidate will join a research team investigating a disease avoidance model of the emotion disgust. 

Applications will be accepted from domestic and international applicants. Applicants should have equivalent research qualifications to an Australian undergraduate degree with first class honours (such as a Masters degree with a substantial thesis component) in a relevant experimental discipline (such as Cognitive Psychology, Behavioural Neuroscience).
