The SASP Early Career award is awarded to an emerging scholar who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of social psychology in Australasia.
An announcement is made to the SASP mailing list when nominations for the SASP ECR Award opens.
To be eligible for the SASP ECR Award, nominees should:
- Be a member of SASP (https://sasp.org.au/membership-join/)
- Have completed their PhD less than 5 years ago (adjusted for career interruptions)
Candidates can self-nominate or can be nominated by other SASP members. For nomination, the following is asked for:
- the candidates CV
- a cover letter outlining candidates research achievements,
- two references
The winner of the award is invited to present their work at the next SASP conference.
