We are happy to share the information leaflet about our IACCP Culture and Psychology Summer School at the University of Guelph, Canada, 28 June – 1 July 2018.
It is open to students at the Doctoral or Masters levels who are interested in culture and psychology.
As EC members, we kindly ask that you share this news across the region and with students you know may be interested.
Our program includes 4 streams:
STREAM 1: SCHOLARLY MANUSCRIPT WRITING WORKSHOP, Deborah Best & Judith Gibbons
This workshop is geared toward advanced and mid-level graduate students who are already working on publication materials.
STREAM 2: UNDERSTANDING HOW TO WORK WITH AND FOR CANADIAN INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES, Jean Becker & Stryker Calvez
This workshop is geared toward all levels of graduate students wishing to better understand theoretical and methodological indigenous approaches to psychology research.
STREAM 3: PHILOSOPHY, THEORY, AND METHODOLOGY OF CULTURE AND PSYCHOLOGY RESEARCH, Valery Chirkov
This workshop is geared toward early to mid-level graduate students wishing to develop and/or strengthen their understanding of fundamentals in methods and theory in cross-cultural psychology.
STREAM 4: ADVANCED STATISTICS WORKSHOP, Matthew Easterbrook
This workshop is geared toward advanced and mid-level graduate students who already have a solid foundation in statistics and wish to develop and apply advanced multilevel modeling skills.
