The SASP Outstanding Career Award recognises an exceptional scholar who has made an outstanding major contribution to social psychology in Australasia. This award honours those who have significantly advanced the field, demonstrated sustained excellence in research, and contributed to the broader community of social psychology in Australasia. Recipients embody the highest standards of scientific inquiry, mentorship, and leadership in the field.
Candidates for the Outstanding Career Award are SASP members who are selected by a committee of the past president, current president, and president-elect of SASP.
The recipient of the the Outstanding Career Award is invited to provide an address at the annual SASP conference.
