The Margaret Foddy Postgraduate Travel Awards provide financial assistance to postgraduate student members who wish to attend SASP conferences. SASP is pleased to offer multiple awards to postgraduate students to assist with their travel costs to the SASP conference.

Eligibility
To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:
- Have paid membership in SASP (https://sasp.org.au/membership-join/)
- Study in Australia or New Zealand
- Submitted an abstract to present at the conference
Application
When applications for the Margaret Foddy Postgraduate Travel Awards open, an announcement will be made to the SASP mailing list with specific details and dates
To apply for the SASP Margaret Foddy Postgraduate Travel Award, the following details are asked for in a single document sent to the SASP secretary by the nominated date:
- A completed Margaret Foddy Postgraduate Travel Award Application Form
- A copy of your Curriculum Vitae
- A statement from your postgraduate supervisor in support of your application and, in particular, confirming your answer to the question on the application form regarding your access to other forms of financial aid to attend the SASP conference
Selection
Decisions regarding the distribution of the awards is be based upon answers provided to questions in the application form and applicants’ accompanying CV. Decisions are made by members of the SASP Margaret Foddy Postgraduate Travel Award panel and are final.
All applicants will be advised of the outcome prior to the conference.
