Flinders University are now advertising two new positions of Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Psychology. These are both full-time balanced, continuing (tenure track equivalent) positions that are open in terms of the field of psychological research.
People that will contribute research and teaching excellence to Psychology and to Flinders Institute of Mental Health and Wellbeing are sought. The social psychology group (Michael Wenzel, Lydia Woodyatt, Annabelle Neall, and Emma Thomas) would, of course, love for at least one of these positions to go to a social psychologist! While the advertisement mentions the Flinders Institute of Mental Health and Wellbeing please don’t be daunted by the wellbeing frame; we are primarily interested in people who are great teachers and researchers, and who complement our existing strengths. You can find a list of psychology research staff here.
Positions are now open and can be accessed via: Jobs@Flinders, Seek, and LinkedIn. Positions will be closing at 10:00pm on Monday, 1 December 2025.
Lydia Woodyatt and Emma Thomas will both be at SASP-ACPID 2025 if anyone would like to have a chat about these positions.
