A research assistant is currently sought to support a project exploring the human dimensions of wildlife management. The project will be exploratory in nature, seeking to identifying predictors of audience behaviour to inform campaigns and messaging to improve animal welfare outcomes.
The work will start before the end of 2025 and is expected to be completed by September 2026. The exact number of hours will depend on the candidate’s availability and how many of the skills/tasks the candidate can meet/achieve:
- Developing a survey instrument and creating the survey on Qualtrics
- Administering the survey with the industry partner to collect responses
- Quantitative analysis of survey data
- Providing support with ethics approval amendments and reporting as needed
- Conducting interviews with industry representatives (possible depending on candidate)
- Coding interview responses (possible depending on candidate)
- Contribution to writing report and/or peer-reviewed paper
Candidates must have a right to work in Australia and will ideally be located in Victoria (remote work may be possible).
