Dear colleagues,
I’m reaching out to see if others might be interested in collaborating on one or more symposia focused on LGBTQ+ topics, sexuality, and/or sex and gender for the upcoming joint SASP–ACPID conference in Melbourne.
The conference provides a great opportunity to bring together researchers across social, personality, and community psychology to showcase cutting-edge work in this area — and to strengthen our growing community of scholars working at the intersections of identity, wellbeing, prejudice, and social change. Plus the last few years of doing this have been really fruitful in terms of meetings new friends and reconnecting with colleagues!
If you’re working in this space and are interested in co-developing a symposium (or just being kept in the loop), I’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch with a short summary of your work or any ideas you might have for a themed session (just rough topics is fine at this stage).
