One of the positions is to teach into a new, unaccredited Graduate Certificate in Applied Psychology (with the intent of turning it into a Master’s program). Micheal Platow () is happy to answer any questions about the teaching component of that role.
Questions about the position associated with the Bachelor of Philosophy, Neuroscience and Psychology program can be directed to Bruce Christensen ().
About Psychology at ANU
ANU has a strong social and personality psychology research group, with nine social/personality academics (Tegan Cruwys, Charlie Crimston, Boris Bizumic, Olivia Evans, Mark Stevens, Daniel Skorich, Ho Huynh, Lillian Smyth, and Michael Platow), plus others whose work engages with social processes (Eryn Newman, Amy Dawel, Junwen Chen, Stephanie Goodhew) and directly studies personality (Bruce Christensen, Conal Monaghan). There are also social psychologists with whom we collaborate across the University (Michelle Ryan, Giles Hirst), and five social-psychology post docs in our School funded by ARC, ONI, NHMRC and Category 2 funding. Kate Reynolds maintains a strong association the social psychologists at ANU, as does Mike Smithson (now emeritus).
Psychology at ANU is in the College of Health and medicine, but many (if not most) of the people listed above do not have health and medicine as the focus of their research.
