This meeting brings together researchers who study the consequences of communication for intergroup relations. The meeting focuses on interpersonal, intragroup, and intergroup communication. We are also interested in a range of consequences including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral. We invite submissions for oral presentations, but you may also indicate if you would prefer to present a poster or attend without presenting.
The location is a beautifully situated conference hotel in Soesterberg, close to Utrecht, see http://www.kontaktderkontinenten.nl/conferentiehotel. The meeting is sponsored by the Dutch research foundation NWO and EASP.
Depending on the number of participants, there may be a small conference fee, but this is expected to be <100 euros pp.
Keynote speakers are Karen Douglas (University of Kent), Yoshihisa Kashima (Univerity of Melbourne) and John Dixon (Open University, UK).
